Knowing that any KC Rep production of Into the Woods would be exquisitely produced and skillfully designed, I volunteered to serve as the Assistant Sound Designer for whomever they would get. And working with Moisés Kaufman would add to the opportunity. As an assistant I always sign up knowing that I will do anything that the designer needs. Jeff had me help out with implementing equipment, balancing the system, programming scenes into the Yamaha PM-5D, engineering vocal recording sessions, and eventually being responsible for most sound effect cues.
